1. Introduction

Introduction Welcome to ScanTheLead.com. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our platform, you agree to comply with these terms. ScanTheLead is owned and operated by Panwila Amarasinghe Kankanamge Prabath Rangana Lakmali, a sole proprietor based in Sri Lanka. ScanTheLead provides AI-powered website auditing, lead generation data, and visual redesign previews for freelancers and agencies..

2. Service Description and Credits

Credit-Based Access

ScanTheLead operates on a "Pay-As-You-Go" credit system. Users purchase credits to perform specific actions. Current credit costs are:

  • Search & Discovery: 1 Credit per batch
  • Business Audits: 2 Credits
  • Outreach Generation: First generation is free; re-generation costs 2 Credits
  • PDF Downloads: 1 Credit

Credit costs are displayed in the app before you confirm any action and may be adjusted to reflect operational costs.

What is a Credit?

A "Credit" is a unit of usage within ScanTheLead. Each action on our platform consumes a specified number of credits as outlined above. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed outside of the ScanTheLead platform.

Free Trial Credits

New users receive 100 Free Credits upon account creation. These trial credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire 7 days after account creation. Trial credits may be revoked or modified at our discretion.

Purchased Credits

Credits purchased through our payment system never expire and remain in your account until used. Purchased credits are non-transferable and have no cash value outside of the ScanTheLead platform.

Accuracy of Data

While our AI models strive for precision, "Visual Redesigns" are conceptual mockups and "Audits" are automated findings. We do not guarantee the accuracy or commercial success resulting from these AI-generated insights.

3. Payments and Refunds

Merchant of Record

All financial transactions are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. By purchasing credits, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Use. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Refund Policy

In accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms, we offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. You may cancel your agreement and request a full refund of your purchase within 14 days of the transaction.

Fair Use Consumption Limit

To protect our AI infrastructure costs and prevent system abuse, refunds are eligible provided that less than 20% of the purchased credits have been consumed. Once a refund is issued, all remaining credits from that purchase will be voided.

To request a refund, please contact us at support@scanthelead.com with your order confirmation number. Refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days.

Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to adjust the cost of credit packs or the credit "price" of specific app features at any time to reflect operational costs. Price changes will not affect credits already purchased.

4. User Responsibilities and Outreach

Compliance with Laws

Users are solely responsible for ensuring their outreach (via Email, SMS, or WhatsApp) complies with local regulations, including but not limited to GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and local telecommunications laws in their respective regions.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ScanTheLead for illegal harvesting of data, harassment, or the distribution of spam.

5. Limitation of Liability

ScanTheLead.com and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our lead data or AI-generated reports. We provide the "tools" for your business; the execution and results of your sales process are your own responsibility.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.
